Cathy and Dale celebrated their intimate wedding at the breathtaking De Zeven Guesthouse in Helshoogte, Stellenbosch—one of the Cape Winelands’ most exclusive boutique wedding venues. Based in Cape Town, the couple entrusted LeFox Weddings & Events with both creative direction and coordination for their small, weekend-long celebration.

Guests stayed on-site at De Zeven Guesthouse as well as nearby accommodation, turning the wedding into a relaxed and memorable weekend experience surrounded by vineyards and mountain views in the heart of Stellenbosch.
Cathy placed full trust in the LeFox team to bring her vision to life. The brief was clean, fresh, elegant, and romantic—resulting in a refined creative direction that perfectly complemented the natural beauty of the venue. The design featured a sophisticated blend of glass, white florals, crystal elements, natural wood textures, and subtle greenery, allowing the setting to remain light, airy, and timeless.

De Zeven Guesthouse offers one of the most spectacular ceremony settings in the Cape Winelands. The pool deck overlooks the Helshoogte mountains, creating a truly unforgettable backdrop that requires very little additional styling. The natural landscape and architecture speak for themselves, enhancing every moment of the ceremony and celebration.

The wedding experience began with a live string quartet welcoming guests, followed by a saxophone performance during pre-drinks, setting a relaxed and romantic tone. The evening continued with soft background music throughout dinner, creating an intimate atmosphere filled with meaningful conversation, exceptional food from Two Chefs, fine wine, and heartfelt celebration.
